Ryan M. Wallace joins the management team as VP and GM responsible for managing the firm’s NY operation

PAN Communications, an integrated marketing and PR agency for B2B tech and healthcare brands, today expanded its national footprint with the opening of its New York office and the key hire of Ryan M. Wallace as Vice President and General Manager. PAN’s expansion to New York will enable the firm to attract new brands and work more closely with current clients headquartered in the greater New York metropolitan area. This strategic initiative is part of the agency’s five-year expansion plan and closely aligns with the continued growth of B2B tech sectors such as Adtech, Martech, Fintech, Retail Tech and e-commerce.

“Our agency has worked incredibly hard in the past few years to expand our offering as a true integrated agency across our Boston, San Francisco and Orlando locations,” said Philip A. Nardone, Jr., President and CEO of PAN Communications. “New York is the next area we feel needs a different perspective on integrated marketing and PR. Ryan brings a unique skill set that includes both agency and corporate experience to help to better serve our clients and extend the PAN brand across this fabulous city.”

PAN’s NY office, working out of WeWork NoMad, is also looking to strengthen its New York presence by attracting additional talent. These individuals will support the agency’s growing integrated marketing and PR capabilities with digital skills and allow them to capitalize on New York’s exciting growth sectors.

Wallace, a proven communications professional with nearly fifteen years of global experience, joins PAN from the corporate communications team at NRG Energy, Inc., where he led a mix of executive, industry and internal communications initiatives. Prior to his time at NRG, Wallace was responsible for and grew the East Coast tech practice at MWW, and before that Bite Global’s New York office. He continues to serve as the Communications Director for the prestigious New York Fashion Tech Lab – a position he has held since the program’s inception. Wallace is also an Advisory Board Member for the Big Data Certificate Program at Rutgers University. His forte is in creating and managing fully integrated brand reputation marketing programs that make tangible impacts for clients.

Under Wallace’s leadership, PAN anticipates further growth across its tech portfolio, with a heightened focus on those brands in need of strategic guidance and creative storytelling to help grow revenue and expand brand awareness. In addition to NRG Energy, Wallace’s background spans across several B2B and B2C tech clients, including CA Technologies, eBay, HBO, SAP, Skype, and Visa to highlight a few. Wallace will report into PAN’s EVP and Managing Director, Phil Carpenter.

“I am proud to be joining the multi-talented PAN family and am eager to expand our portfolio through the New York metro market,” said Wallace. “Bringing leading integrated marketing experience from the Boston and San Francisco markets allows us to differentiate ourselves with an outstanding offering for current clients and prospects alike.”
