PAN Communications, an integrated public relations, content marketing and digital media agency for the technology, consumer and healthcare industries, marked the third quarter of 2014 with a growing client base, notable new hires and continued innovation across the agency’s service offerings. When compared to the third quarter of 2013, the agency reported an impressive 24 percent increase in revenue attributed to both organic growth and new client wins.
“The momentum we’ve experienced in Q3 is due to the focus and expertise of our biggest asset—our employees,” says Philip A. Nardone, Jr., president and founder of PAN Communications. “Our efforts to employ the brightest, most talented public relations practitioners have helped our agency continue the momentum started when we kicked off 2014. We’re thrilled about the clients that we are attracting and the impact we are having throughout the PR industry with our strategic integrated communications approach.”
Agency Successes
PAN has added a broad array of clients to its roster, due in part to the firm’s commitment to bringing in opportunities relevant to its core expertise. Recent wins include clients focused across the consumer, technology, healthcare and professional services industries:
- Kogeto: its latest product Jo revolutionizes video conferencing and streaming
- nfrastructure: enterprise IT provider focused on IoT network infrastructure for F1000
- ad:tech Conferences: the leading interactive marketing and advertising conference
- Keepity: self-service social advertising network
- Alexander Mann: worldwide talent solutions
- Tahzoo: a 21st century CX agency providing tailored experiences for Fortune 500 brands
- ONvocal: smart personal audio that allows for a “heads up”, more engaged lifestyle
New Hires
This past quarter, PAN hired Mark Malinowski, an award-winning expert in consumer brand communications, entertainment marketing and cause marketing. Mark was named Vice President and Consumer Group Practice Leader earlier this fall and is focused on growing PAN’s consumer PR practice. He brings to PAN years of experience working with leading brands such as General Mills, Levis Strauss, Purina, Ikea, Body Shop and many others.
In addition, PAN promoted Nikki Festa to Account Director and recently hired industry veteran Megan Kessler as an Account Director. Previously, Megan worked at SHIFT and Regan Communications.
Awards and Recognition
PAN was recently honored with an American Business Award, known as a “Stevie.” The Agency won a “Grand Stevie Award” for its large number of high-quality submissions. This is a testament to the work of teams such as Tangoe, Signiant, Novell, SDL and others. More than 3,300 entries were submitted to The 2014 American Business Awards and only 10 organizations received Grand Stevie Awards.
Cultural Development
PAN continued to enhance its agency culture throughout Q3. As part of the company’s PANfit wellness program, employees participated in wellness activities benefitting physical health, financial health and life skills. The agency also held its annual employee summer outing, treating everyone to Formula1 Racing. Fun and competitive spirit marked the day, giving a chance for PAN employees to unwind on the racetrack as they tried to collect a checkered flag.
“We make sure that our employees are valued, recognized and rewarded with key cultural benefits that set us apart,” comments Nardone. “It’s a very exciting time at PAN as we look at strategic moves that will positively impact our business.”
