PAN Communications, an integrated public relations, content marketing and digital media agency for the technology, consumer tech and healthcare industries, has been named the agency of record for Drizly™, the technology company which recently raised $13 million in Series A venture capital to bring a superior shopping experience for beer, wine and liquor, and the on-demand delivery of beverage alcohol, to cities across North America.

Headquartered in Boston and currently serving 15 major metropolitan cities, Drizly plans to double its footprint over the course of the next year. In addition to its Series A funding, the company announced an exclusive strategic alliance with WSWA Services, an affiliate of the Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America (WSWA) and its 362 member companies. After a rigorous evaluation of national firms, PAN Communications was selected in May as Drizly’s PR agency of record.

“For the last 18 months, communications has been core to generating awareness and demand for Drizly among consumers and retailers alike,” said Michael DiLorenzo, senior vice president of marketing for Drizly. “Now, as Drizly accelerates its expansion this year to more than 30 cities across North America, it is essential that we have scalable, sophisticated earned media capabilities that will successfully underpin our growth.”

“We are thrilled to add Drizly to our growing portfolio of leading consumer technology brands,” said Lauren Arnold, vice president at PAN Communications. “Drizly is leading the liquor industry’s shift to digital commerce while delivering an exceptional customer experience. The company is undoubtedly poised for exponential growth and we are looking forward to aligning the right program that will fuel their long-term success.”
