A few weeks away from RSA Conferencethe PAN office is buzzing as we work with clients to schedule media briefings, plan booth activities and organize events. Last year’s event saw 42,000 attendees and more than 700 presenting companies coming together to discuss trends, innovations and opportunities to create a safer, more secure future. With 621 sessions, conversations covered every security topic imaginable – from how to solve the talent shortage to emerging attack techniques.

The RSAC 2020 Trend Report has already highlighted a few anticipated trends to come out of this year’s event, based on more than 2,400 speaker submissions. Security touches everything in the tech space and beyond, with trending topics including the designdevelopment and maintenance of secure products; the convergence of IT and OT security; security awareness and training; and more. With keynote sessions featuring McAfee, CrowdStrike, VMware, the United States Department of Defense and more, there is no shortage of thought leadership around RSAC.

Whether attending in-person or keeping tabs on the event from afar, we’ve pulled together a list of the top influencers to follow and stay on top of this year’s trends.

Industry events are a prime opportunity to connect with industry influencers and top-tier media to build relationships with new contacts or establish your client as a thought leader on trending topics. PAN works closely with clients to develop an integrated event strategy encompassing pre-, during and post- activities, including arranging media or analyst briefings, managing social channels and organizing in-booth demonstrations or contests. RSAC and other events provide a great hook to start a conversation and engage with influencers, analysts, media and customers, so beyond attending the event itself, take advantage of the momentum and conversation around the event before and after it takes place.

Let us know your favorite industry thought leaders and don’t forget to follow #RSAC to keep tabs on the latest news coming around the event!
